Building knowledge and trust from the ground up

I design nurturing, immersive group experiences that make the invisible narratives of your team visible. Moving past superficial team building, I help organisations heal internal friction, dismantle communication silos, and build collaborative cultures rooted in mutual trust.

Meaningful team transformation

Our brains are hardwired for story

"It is the collective myth of a society or organisation that forms its culture, dictating the specific beliefs and behaviours of the people within it. " – Yuval Noah Harari

The Narrative 4 Change framework pushes directly past superficial team-building exercises. It enables honest, meaningful connection and mutual understanding that supports long-term structural thriving and growth. By creating a deeply secure, non-threatening environment, it becomes easier for people to step into the discomfort they might feel and develop the courageous vulnerability needed to share their truth.

I design and facilitate comprehensive, end-to-end consulting engagements for mid-sized corporate, sports, educational and climate organisations (under 100 employees) based on the expressed needs of the organisation. For larger enterprises, I offer a specialsed Train the Trainer model to empower HR teams and leaders to execute the Narrative 4 Change methodology with their internal teams.

The impact of an impoverished cultural soil

Channels of engagement

Executive leadership instability

A shifting hierarchy leaves teams asking, "Why should I try?" I help new leaders take root within an existing ecosystem, without crowding out what wisdom already exists within them – thus gaining the trust needed to implement changes.

Undercurrents and unspoken friction

Unaddressed friction and rumour can suffocate performance. I create a safe space to bring what's unspoken into the open, so it can be worked with rather than left to become invasive.

Growth doesn't mean thriving

A team can grow without thriving. Growth can look like activity, output, results on a page, while thriving is something felt, in trust, energy, and the willingness to take real risks together. I help teams find what's missing between the two.

Surface-level effort

Corporate team building often is a short, forced burst of intensity only goes skin-deep. My work takes root somewhere deeper, in the marrow and bone soil of a person, so what grows from it holds and lasts.

A powerful approach: Playful, personal and professional

To help teams operate at their best, tactile, hands-on materials like LEGO, craft materials and threads are used to bring internal narratives out into the open. This type of activity creates distance between a person and their own story that lets previously unseen details surface - a technique long used in play therapy. Essentially, creating the representation of an experience makes it possible to examine it without being caught inside it.

  • Participants build physical representations of what they need to thrive in their role, and individual perspectives are woven together into a shared picture of your organisation's collective environment.

  • Teams leave with practical communication skills they can use in everyday working life and a greater knowledge of how they can support each other.

Propagation: Train the Trainer

I offer a specialised Train the Trainer model for larger enterprises because true cultural change has to be self-sustaining. While I fully design and facilitate comprehensive, end-to-end consulting engagements for mid-sized organisations (under 100 employees), I propagate the Narrative 4 Change framework for larger enterprises through a specialised Train the Trainer model.

  • I directly equip your HR professionals, internal coaches, and department leaders with the foundational narrative toolkits and living-system frameworks needed to run these courses independently.

  • My Train the Trainer model ensures that you can enrich your organisation's soil from within and sustain it.

"Katrice really took the time to understand us and our work, which made the training feel personal from the start. We wanted something different from the usual theory-heavy training – something that would get people actually speaking and building their confidence.

Katrice absolutely delivered."

... Katrice really took the time to understand us and our work, which made the training feel personal from the start. We wanted something different from the usual theory-heavy training – something that would get people actually speaking and building their confidence. Katrice absolutely delivered. She was funny, warm and engaging, and created a space where people felt comfortable having a go. It was brilliant to see people leave feeling more confident in sharing their stories.

"I had the pleasure of attending a two-day workshop facilitated by Katrice and the experience was incredible! Given the growing importance and impact of storytelling in today’s world, I can’t recommend Katrice highly enough as an engaging, thought provoking, challenging and enlightener in this field."

... I had the pleasure of attending a two-day workshop facilitated by Katrice and the experience was incredible! The workshop was focused on a group of 12 high-performers in our organisation and Katrice took us through a process of exploring storytelling, in terms of its importance and why tone, body language, pace and the overall narrative are so critical to us all in every walk of life. Through the process, there was an opportunity to explore our personal stories and journeys and therefore we learned about storytelling and its impact, but also how it supported reflection and transformation. Given the growing importance and impact of storytelling in today’s world, I can’t recommend Katrice highly enough as an engaging, thought provoking, challenging and enlightener in this field.
