A new way of working together for change.

Hello my wonderful Subscribers - it is so meaningful to me that you have signed up to hear news of the work I am doing and how I am doing - it which is what this newsletter is all about.

For some time now, as well as using narratives to design and deliver my courses - I have been meshing in bio-mimicry and ways of being entangled. More and more we use phrases like, 'living with uncertainty' or 'complexity theory,' and often I find them just that - phrases that have no root and no hold in the soil of my senses. I need to grasp and understand, on some deep, bone-marrow-memory level. I need this knowledge to be visceral so that I feel it changing me. I started to realise that myths and fairytales were our mycorrhiza as humans and that in order to utilise and tap into them fully, I needed to be aware of the ecology around me and weave the patterns into my work. This is what I now try and do and the impact has been profound. There has been rich cross-pollination within groups and the development of ongoing relationships after the courses have finished - what joy.

So of course I want to share this - I want us all to entangle and become aware that there is no single hero's journey - I want us to mesh and lattice and nourish each other. In order to help make this happen I have planted a range of seeds in differing soils:

The first soil is one that will talk to you - should you press your ear against it.

It is in the form of a monthly podcast called Mythcelium, where I will share a myth/story in response to the ecology around me and the season. I will share scientific facts about this ecology that will then mesh back into the story and to what it means to be human.

The second soil is one you can just sit back and watch - on my YouTube channel. I will upload monthly videos all about the work and include the myths and stories too. YOu can watch the introduction to this new work here.

Finally the third soil is one that you will be able to see and help tend. I am launching a series of online Mythcelium gatherings via Zoom. They will take place the third Sunday of every month throughout this year. I would love to see you all there. I will share a story and news of what I am doing currently, regarding this new mythcelium approach, and then we will have a Q+A.

I want to create a community of entanglement and I want you all to be mycelium within it. The zoom link - it will be the same one for all 12 events has been sent out to all of my subscribers on this site. If you are interested in attending, please email me. I truly hope I can reach the minimum of 12 for each of them and THANK YOU so much to those of you who remain interested in applying - even though in 2025 we had to cancel all of them due to low numbers. As I said at the start of this newsletter - it is a tangled journey that we are all on - though I truly hope we can intersect this year. Let 2026 be a year to become entangled.
